Bill Hill moved to Napa Valley in 1974
and made a career of finding and developing vineyard sites that had the
potential to make great wine - in 1996 he was even recognized by Wine
Spectator for his contributions in elevating the quality of wine
worldwide. After selling his original winery, he decided he couldn't
stay away, and in 1994 he founded Bighorn Cellars, devoted to making
limited qualities of top-notch Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon. The
Coombsville Vineyard wine is classic Napa Cabernet: rich and lush, with
tons of dark fruit and touches of milk chocolate. It's very silky on the
palate, with gentle tannins
