Sonoma County is a diverse and large winegrowing region, with many
more grapes than its more famous neighbor, Napa. The diversity allows
winemakers to blend together grapes from several different vineyards,
each of which brings a new element to the mix, be it smooth tannins,
food-friendly acidity, or rich fruit flavors. The Bouchon Cabernet has
taken advantage of this diversity; it has rich blackcurrant, vanilla,
and chocolate aromas, all supported by an underlying earthiness. The
tannins are firm on this full-bodied, well-balanced wine.
