Casa Carneros Pinot Noir - 1999

Carneros, located at the southern end of the Sonoma and Napa Valleys, was the first place in California to produce quality Pinot Noir. Cool air washes over the hills from San Pablo Bay, allowing the finicky Pinot Noir grapes to mature slowly; in Casa Carneros' wine that means a full-bodied wine rich with smooth layers of dark cherry, cola, and black raspberry.
