The latter, gently cooled by breezes from the Pacific Ocean, adds freshness and acidity to keep a wine food-friendly and elegant. The Charles Creek Miradero Merlot carefully blends grapes from the two valleys to bring out the best features of both. The results are outstanding: tons of ripe plum and cherry, with touches of milk chocolate and earth and a spicy note on the palate. It’s full-bodied with firm tannins and a satisfying finish.
