The Corley family farms five small vineyards in several different
appellations of Napa Valley. The grapes for this Pinot Noir come from
the Oak Knoll District, and the variety of Pinot Noir planted there
produces rich, full wines with lots of berry flavors. 2002 was
especially kind to the grapes there, and Chris Corley, the winemaker,
just had to shepherd the wine into the bottle.
